The concept of “do no harm” comes from the generalized version of the Hippocratic Oath in modern medicine. A nonprofit clinic in Katy, Texas called Christ Clinic has taken the call of “do no harm” and expanded on it. Saying the call on their mission is “Even Higher than “do no harm.”” The Apostle Luke sets a wonderful example of the concept and standard of excellence one should bring to a task they are doing unto the Lord. Many communities in third world countries do not have access to, nor even an understanding of excellent medical care. The Even Higher Tours were formed in answer to that call, for communities right here in the United States and across the world. With domestic partners like Christ Clinic and global partners like Mercy Ships, we aim to bring teams of medical and non medical personnel to answer this call.
